A Pirrrate Shirrrt

I’m going to start sharing more outfits on this newsletter, rather than writing longer texts. Fashion has always been a favorite creative outlet to me, above all. I love texting a really fun outfit to a friend, for example.

I’ll use the newsletter in a same way: to celebrate and share the joy of “playing with clothes”. Less writing, more visuals.

First up, a pirrrrate shirt to spice up a little black dress.

The poofiness of the sleeves makes this outfit extra fun. I like how it’s just a little extra for an otherwise plain b&w combo.

It reminds me of this outfit Lauren Bacall wears in How to Marry a Millionaire.

The Deets on the Outfit

Shirt: Madl, a local brand from Salzburg. It’s late 80s-ish from their archive sale.

Dress: A very comfortable jersey number from &Other Stories from 10 years ago.

Boots: Marc O`Polo. I got them during my first year of uni in 2008. They were a massive splurge back in the day. It’s amazing that they’ve lasted me for 16 years. I really appreciate that! I enjoy to have pieces that have spent that much life with me.
